Overview of Sherborne School

13+ into Year 9 is the principal entry point. Registered boys sit the ISEB Common Pre-Test in Year 6 or Year 7, followed by the school’s own assessment, with a reference from the current school forming part of the picture.
16+ entry into the Sixth Form is offered to boys with strong GCSE results who wish to study A-Levels. Candidates sit subject papers and attend an interview, joining a sixth form known for academic rigour and strong co-curricular opportunity.
