16+ entry refers to the admissions process for post-16 study at selective UK independent sixth forms. It is sat by students in Year 11 applying for Year 12 entry into schools such as Westminster, Eton, Winchester, Sevenoaks, Cheltenham Ladies’ College, Wycombe Abbey, Dulwich College, King’s College School Wimbledon, and a growing number of day and boarding schools that open their doors to external applicants at sixth-form level.

A candidate applying to read A-level Maths, Further Maths, and Physics will sit papers in those specific subjects; a candidate applying for English Literature, History, and French will sit those.
